Aurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a full-time Case Manager to join our Connect to Care team, often the first point of connection for individuals seeking services. In this vital role, you’ll provide compassionate, trauma-informed case management to individuals living with mental health and/or substance use challenges, helping them identify needs, access resources, navigate systems of care, and move toward stability. Working alongside therapists, case managers, and care coordination staff, you’ll support initial assessments, bridge services, crisis intervention, and ongoing engagement in care. This role is ideal for a collaborative, organized, and proactive professional who values supervision, teamwork, and hands-on “groundwork” in the field. Candidates with experience in case management and serving diverse populations are preferred—but above all, we’re looking for someone passionate about people, learning, and making a difference every day. Position details Location: 1290 S. Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80012 Position Type: 1 FTE (40 hrs/wk, benefited) Education Level: Bachelor\'s Degree Salary Range: $21.03 - $31.56 hourly Shift: Fully In-Person/On-Site Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Onsite, Monday - Friday, 5 x 8-hour shifts between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm (subject to unit needs). Salary: Paid bi-weekly; starting wage based on experience and company equity. Bilingual Language Differential Pay: Eligible to receive a fixed amount of $3,000 per calendar year, prorated based on hire date and full-time equivalency (FTE), paid bi-weekly over 26 pay periods. Eligibility depends on language requirements and demonstrated proficiency. Essential Functions / Responsibilities Help clients meet basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, personal safety, and general health care, and assist with applications for income, medical, housing, or other benefits. Ensure clients\' access to needed services by arranging transportation. Provide comprehensive psychosocial services designed to improve or maintain clients\' ability to function. Help clients evaluate strengths and symptoms, and assist in setting goals and plans for appropriate services. Guide clients in daily living skills such as medication use, diet, exercise, personal hygiene, budgeting, and use of transportation and community services. Support clients in developing social skills, interests, and leisure activities; identify employment opportunities or vocational resources when appropriate. Offer support and education to families, landlords, employers, and community agencies to maximize benefits and minimize problems. Identify and utilize natural support systems to encourage treatment program engagement. Reach out to eligible clients, inform them of and educate them about available services in the community. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in psychology, social work, or other related human services field, or a Bachelor\'s in an unrelated field with at least one year of behavioral health experience. Demonstrated interest in the behavioral health field. Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately. Knowledge of community resources and ability to work with differing behavioral health presentations. Effective organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Preferred: Bilingual. Vaccination & TB AMHR requires all employees to receive an annual influenza (flu) vaccination and a negative TB test prior to the first day of hire. Proof of flu vaccination and TB results is required on first day. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested.
