Position Summary: Assembles raw material to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works from product specifications and instructions to properly assemble product.
• Uses hand tools and small power tools properly
• Uses equipment, machinery and materials properly.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma, or GED

Experience: 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, Parts Manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
