Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Miramar, FL

Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience operating production equipment in a manufacturing environment and will be responsible for producing high-quality products while following safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications.
Complete production documentation accurately, including production logs and batch records.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and company policies.
Perform equipment cleaning, line clearance, and sanitation procedures as required.
Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process and report any quality or equipment concerns.
Assist with machine setup, product changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve daily production goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetic, food, or nutraceutical manufacturing is highly preferred.
Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with production documentation and quality systems.
Experience operating automated manufacturing or packaging equipment.
