Details 28-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown/intermediate care unit Caring for all cardiac needs including post-op care Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-6 Unit supported by PCTs, healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs Night shift schedule from 18:30-07:00 13-week assignment Up to 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period Holiday coverage required if department has a need Requirements Active RN license (Standard or Compact) Current BLS certification through AHA Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient condition Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care Carry out physician and nursing orders Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team Work within a Level I trauma center serving patients of all ages Nurses work in teams supported by PCTs and a unit secretary Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
