Project Manager Assistant

We are looking to hire an experienced Project Manager Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities Work closely with the Project Manager and other project team members daily Coordinate job start-up activities Support Project Managers with schedules and budgets Set up new jobs and import them into Spectrum and Heavy Job Assist in the coordination of construction activities Create Purchase Orders and Subcontracts from the bids Prepare job books for PM & Superintendents Participate in Precon/Prebids meetings (internal and external) Pre-Job video of the Job site Attend weekly onsite meetings & prepare meeting agendas (when necessary) Coordinate permit applications, plan submissions, and permit renewals Take‑offs (small ones) Keep HeavyJob software updated Track all extra work tickets Update plan sets with amendments and distribute printed copies to the field Maintain office folders, job lists, and electronic plans and contract files Prepare and manage project submittals Any other requests from the PM’s Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion to learn Good organization skills and follow‑through Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education and Experience Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
