Title
Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Oncology

Schedule
12-hour Day/Night rotating shifts (may include days, nights, or a combination). Schedule reviewed every 4-week period based on unit needs.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
- Acute care experience must be current (working consistently in last 12 months) in the specialty applied for.
- EPIC experience required.
- Valid compact or state RN license in hand at the time of submission.
- Certifications: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.
- Oncology experience preferred but not required.
- Previous travel experience preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical and surgical oncological diagnoses.
- Monitor patients' conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Manage patient symptoms, infections, and comorbidities effectively.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting in the EPIC system.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and fall risk management strategies.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 72 hours.
- Urgent fingerprinting process required after signing the contract.
- Pre-approved time off must be included with submission.
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director).
- Candidates unresponsive to credentialing risk push/cancel.
