Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, gently guiding them through each step
• Work in partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Accurately document imaging procedures and uphold patient records within our electronic health system
• Keep current with the latest developments in ultrasound techniques and industry practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
