Position Overview

We are seeking an empathetic and talented Sonography Specialist to join our expanding imaging team. You will employ advanced ultrasound technology to conduct a variety of diagnostic procedures, working alongside a collaborative group of clinicians committed to excellence in patient care.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures by clearly explaining each step
• Work closely with radiologists and physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting issues as necessary
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records in our electronic system
• Keep updated on the latest advances in sonographic imaging techniques

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred

Skills Needed
