Fund Accounting & Reporting Analyst - Real Estate Investments

Job Summary This position is in the Fund Finance & Reporting group at RREEF Management, LLC—a real‑estate investment advisor and wholly owned subsidiary of DWS—responsible for supporting the timely and accurate reporting of financial deliverables from fund administrators to clients and internal RREEF teams. The role is based in Chicago and offers a hybrid working environment. Job Responsibilities Maintain strong cross‑functional relationships and consistent communication with the IAO and other RREEF groups to support departmental and company initiatives. Primary contact and reviewer of select real‑estate vehicles, including review of monthly accounting close packages, quarterly financing statements and audit reports, loan compliance, and quarterly consultant reporting. Interact with external contacts such as the Fund Administrator, auditors, tax advisors, and other third‑party service providers. Collaborate on deliverables and projects with RREEF teams including Portfolio Management, CFO, Asset Management, Transactions, Client Advisory Group, and Capital Markets. Coordinate approval and payment of fund‑level invoices with the fund administrator. Prioritize and track calendar deliverables across multiple real‑estate vehicles. Assist with the review of investor reporting deliverables. Liaise with third‑party tax providers to monitor filing of annual tax returns, 1099s, and K‑1s. Complete ad hoc projects and tasks to improve efficiency and processes. Stay educated on real‑estate and accounting industry updates, including new accounting literature and NCREIF PREA reporting standards. Minimum Education and Experience Required Four‑year college degree in accounting or a related business field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in public accounting and/or real‑estate accounting. CPA preferred. Real‑estate accounting knowledge in fair‑market‑value and historical‑cost methods preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Motivated, self‑started, and able to problem‑solve. Ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment. What We’ll Offer You The salary range for this position in Chicago is $52,000 to $98,000. Actual salaries may vary based on skill set, experience, education, and other factors. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or other remuneration.
