This adjunct faculty position is for online teaching, with travel to our Detroit, Michigan location once per eight-week term, per course (subject to change). The Adjunct Faculty Role The university’s mission is to promote intellectual and personal development through personalized learning opportunities, preparing students to succeed, lead, and serve. Our faculty ensure student success in the online classroom and prepare students for today’s workplace complexities. Responsibilities include: Actively engaging students through frequent interaction and conveying enthusiasm for their learning. Providing thorough and constructive feedback using rubrics to assess work and acknowledge accomplishments. Demonstrating current subject-matter expertise and helping students connect concepts across their academic program. Working with the TrineOnline team to seek continuous improvement for courses and programs. Adjunct Faculty Training All new online faculty are required to complete onboarding training as a condition of hire. Required Education A terminal degree from an accredited institution, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the field (preferred). Extensive professional experience in a related field. Minimum technology requirements must be met (details at: Previous experience teaching online at the university level. Salary Salary is based on credit hours taught and student enrollment. Candidates must provide official transcripts during the selection process.
