Experienced Litigation Associate Attorney

A well-established Pacific Northwest civil litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join its medical malpractice and general liability practice.

The firm represents healthcare professionals, organizations, and other clients in a variety of complex civil litigation and regulatory matters. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is ready to take on challenging cases, develop their litigation skills, and advocate effectively for clients in a collaborative and collegial environment.

The position may be based out of either the firm's Seattle or Tacoma office.

• Medical malpractice defense
• General liability
• Health law
• Professional licensing
• Guardianship matters
• Medical civil rights litigation
• Negligence claims
• Licensing investigations
• Regulatory compliance

The Litigation Associate will:

• Handle and assist with complex civil litigation matters
• Represent clients in medical malpractice and general liability cases
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Participate in case strategy and litigation preparation
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties
• Advocate for clients throughout the litigation process
• Take on increasing responsibility as experience and performance warrant

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Bar license required
• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience
• Experience with civil litigation preferred
• Medical malpractice, professional liability, healthcare, or general liability experience is a strong plus
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a collaborative environment

$130,000 - $180,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional bonus opportunities may be available.
