Maintenance Technician -DIRECT HIRE

We're currently seeking two hands-on, self-motivated Mechanical Maintenance Technician and Electrical Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity with a growing, employee-focused manufacturing organization.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping facilities, production equipment, and operations running safely and efficiently across multiple branch locations.

Location: Fort Mill, SC Hours: 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri Pay: $28-38/hr Dep on experience Travel: 15-30%

In this role, you will:

• Travel independently to branch locations as needed to support maintenance needs
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment and facility systems
• Service three-roll mills, mixers, HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and plumbing systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility-related issues
• Fabricate, modify, and assemble mechanical components as needed
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Use diagnostic meters, hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment safely and effectively
• Initiate corrective actions and continuous improvement opportunities
• Maintain organized tools, workspaces, and maintenance records
• Support compliance with GMP, Quality Management Systems, and safety standards

Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (5+ years strongly preferred) Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair experience Experience with motors, pumps, plumbing, HVAC, pneumatics, and hydraulics Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred Experience with VFDs and PLCs is a strong plus Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical documentation Associate degree or equivalent technical experience preferred Valid driver's license with safe driving record Comfortable traveling to branch locations, sometimes on short notice Basic computer skills (Windows, Microsoft Office) Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement is a plus.
