Job Title: Maintenance Technician III (Nights)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a minimum of three years of experience in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and the ability to work with PLCs and electrical equipment, primarily focusing on troubleshooting these systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, cleaning, and repairs of machinery and equipment.
• Modify plant machinery and automatic equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC drives and motors.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic pressure systems and resolve related issues.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance to maintain production at target efficiencies.
• Perform and document assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance service.
• Knowledge of PLCs and PLC ladder programming.
• Experience with electrical testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, and Meggers.
• Understanding of pneumatic systems and general plumbing skills.
• Experience with hydraulic pumps, valves, and piping.
• Ability to weld using MIG, stick, and wire welding techniques.
• Electrical experience in 480-230V 1-3 phase services, including troubleshooting circuits and motor starters.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical education is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in the use of torch rigs, electrical hand tools, grinders, drill motors, and other related equipment.
• Capability to climb ladders and work in high areas.
• Must provide own tools.

Work Environment

The position is based in a newly constructed facility with state-of-the-art equipment. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and earplugs. The role involves working standard shifts during the week and may include additional hours on Fridays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Mill, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $68640.00/yr.
