In this role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This hands-on position is critical to minimizing downtime and keeping manufacturing equipment running at peak performance.At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. What you do here has real-world impact—every day.Shift: 3rd shift, Monday-Friday 11:00p-7:00aUnion: This position is represented by Local 475.Shift Differential: 15%Starting Rate: $33.52 / hrTraining: New hires must be available to train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:00p for a minimum of 90 days before transitioning to their regularly assigned shift.What You'll Be DoingTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systemsPerform preventative maintenance on machinery, pumps, furnaces, vacuum systems, and related equipmentComplete equipment overhauls, repairs, inspections, and daily maintenance checksDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC system issuesMaintain and repair plumbing, dust collection, and building systemsSupport heat treat equipment operation, maintenance, and repairsPerform welding and brazing repairs as neededRead and work from sketches, schematics, and equipment printsOperate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipment as requiredSupport Lean and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all quality, safety, environmental, and company standardsWhat We're Looking ForExperience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environmentMust be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to read and interpret schematics, sketches, and technical drawingsWorking knowledge of:Plumbing systemsHVAC systemsElectrical power and controlsGas furnaces and heat-treat equipmentVacuum systemsDust collection systemsCarpentry and paintingWelding and brazing experienceUnderstanding of industrial equipment maintenance and repair principlesForklift experience preferredComfortable operating a scissor liftStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and punctualityHigh School diploma or GED requiredNice to HaveExperience maintaining heat-treat or vacuum furnace equipmentIndustrial electrical troubleshooting experienceManufacturing maintenance certifications or vocational trainingExperience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environmentsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsManufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, noise, fumes, and varying temperaturesFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and reaching throughout the shiftAbility to regularly lift and move materials up to 30 poundsAbility to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance equipmentRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.Chromalloy participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.Any offer of employment will also be conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with company policy and applicable federal and state regulations.Chromalloy is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disabled.
