RN Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Maternal Child Health team in Eureka, CA. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and comprehensive nursing care to patients while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Maternal Child Health unit.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, patient progress, and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, nursing standards, and patient-safety procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification listed in the job requirements.
• Maternal Child Health or related nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must be available for the scheduled night shift.
