Occupational Health Nurse

Schedule: Regular shift: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:30; must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.

Assignment Details: Open to locals and travelers; potential travel to assigned facilities for on-site services.

Requirements:

• Valid state RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (Joint Commission, local health department, OSHA, CDC).
• Clinical skills in occupational health screenings, vaccination administration, and exposure management.
• Ability to develop and maintain SOPs and clinical standard work.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical caregiver health services including pre-employment screens and vaccinations.
• Manage exposure and surveillance programs, including TB, hearing, lead, and hazardous drugs.
• Maintain employee health records and participate in health-related committees.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for infection prevention and employee wellness.

Compliance / Notes: Submission requirements include providing a compact RN license on file, references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years, and all requests for time-off during submission. Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless arranged by the account manager.
