Registered Nurse (RN) – Employee Health

Duration: 13 Weeks

Location: Roseville, California (Onsite)
Department: Employee Health
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week (8-Hour Shifts)

Key Responsibilities

As an Employee Health RN, you will lead and support a wide range of occupational health and employee wellness initiatives by:

• Managing employee health programs in alignment with Adventist Health policies and regulatory standards.

• Coordinating annual medical surveillance and fitness-for-duty evaluations.

• Reviewing employee medical documentation and determining compliance with job-specific health requirements.

• Providing initial assessment and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Partnering with providers, leaders, and workers' compensation teams to facilitate safe and timely return-to-work plans.

• Managing communicable disease exposure investigations and follow-up activities.

• Overseeing immunization programs, tuberculosis screening, and substance testing.

• Monitoring injury and illness trends while presenting prevention strategies to leadership.

• Supporting reasonable accommodations and employee work restrictions.

• Maintaining confidential employee health records with regulatory compliance.

• Participating in quality improvement initiatives focused on workplace health and safety.

• Providing education and guidance on occupational health best practices across the organization.

QualificationsRequired

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current CPR certification (AHA or ARC approved)

• AHA-BLS, ARC-BLS, AHA-CPR, or ARC-CPR certification

• Ability to work onsite in Roseville, CA

Preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

• One year of Employee Health, Occupational Health, or related nursing experience

• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification
