Travel MS/Tele/PCU Float Pool RN - $1,939 per week

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Prescott, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Information Location: City, State Unit: Surgical/Neuro - 4th Floor Beds: 48 (Two units: 4A and 4B) Ratios: 1:5 Qualifications Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience Requirements: Ability to read basic telemetry strips Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients Familiarity with CVA and TIA cases Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation time Role Responsibilities Interpret telemetry strips; RN's are required to interpret and sign at least once per shift No requirement to titrate drips; common drips include Diltiazem at a set rate Charge Nurse and House Supervisor are present; Charge Nurse does not take patient assignments Support will be provided by Nurse Aides, with a ratio of 1:10-15 Equipment and Technology Use of Bipap, Cpap, high flow, and various breathing treatments Telemetry is monitored remotely with a team on the 3rd floor; techs read and post strips Shifts and Scheduling Shifts: 12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Scheduling is self-managed but requires balance by management; 4-week schedules are provided. Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends every 4-week schedule. Holiday Requirement: Work expected on major holidays including Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving. Floating Requirements Floating may occur to other service areas within the region, including possible shifts to PCU for qualified personnel. Dress Code Uniform: Navy blue scrubs.
