Registered Nurse - Swedish Hospital Oncology - Days

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Position: Registered Nurse - Oncology Location: Swedish Hospital Cancer Center - Chicago, IL Full Time | 40 hours/week Hours: Monday‑Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, no weekends or holidays What you will do: Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care Administer chemotherapy, medications, and blood products Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience What you will need: Education: Bachelors Degree Nursing, required Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required . Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required . Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card and Oncology Certified Nurse preferred. Experience: 1 year professional Chemotherapy Infusion experience or care of the Hematology/Oncology patient preferred.
