Requirements Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant 6 months full‑time clinical experience Pediatrics experience Home Health experience preferred Must carry valid auto insurance and driver’s license. Responsibilities Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patient’s home or daytime facility Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient Plans for care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
