Elevate your career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) by supporting students across multiple school sites within a closely-knit area near Irving, TX. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing direct services in coordination with an Occupational Therapist. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of up to 60 students, ranging from kindergarten through high school, promoting engagement, participation, and success in educational environments.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Valid COTA licensure in the state of Texas
• Previous experience working in school settings is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ESPED or similar IEP systems is advantageous
• Skilled in collaborating with OTs, educators, and families
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite and travel between nearby school locations as an itinerant provider

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services as prescribed by the OT, supporting students in achieving IEP goals
• Provide intervention across four schools (K-12), all located within a few miles of each other
• Document services, progress, and interventions according to school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for ongoing student support
• Communicate regularly with school teams and families to foster student growth
• Manage schedules efficiently to ensure high-quality, on-time service delivery
