Empower students to reach their potential and make a meaningful difference as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) serving a dynamic group of schools near Arlington, TX. This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide essential support to up to 60 students across four nearby campuses, collaborating closely with an Occupational Therapist. The position is onsite and itinerant, ensuring you’ll have variety in your week while all locations remain conveniently within a short distance of one another.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and active COTA licensure required
• Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with ESPED (IEP System) is desirable
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an OT and school staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage a varied caseload
• Commitment to student progress and inclusive educational practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, following outlined IEP goals
• Work onsite across Cockrell Hill (K-2), Katherine Johnson (K-12), The Meadows (K-5), and Woodridge (K-5)—all within a few miles of each other
• Collaborate with the supervising Occupational Therapist and educational teams to maximize student participation and success
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed, providing input on student performance and needed supports
