Job Description
Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in neonatal and pediatric care, along with the ability to implement effective treatments and therapies for a diverse patient population.

Position Information

Role: Respiratory Therapist (Certified or Registered)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekend Commitment: Every Other Weekend

Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments and implement appropriate respiratory treatments and therapies.
Manage both invasive and non-invasive equipment effectively.
Provide care for geriatric, adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Attend to high-risk deliveries and emergencies as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Education: Associate Degree in Respiratory Care required.
Certifications: Must hold NBRC CRT or RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience preferred, with neonatal and pediatric experience being essential.
Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent patient assessment skills.

Additional Information

Equipment Used: V-60/VOCSN/Hamilton, Vapotherm, Airvo2.
Electronic Health Record System: Meditech.
