About the Role
The Company is in search of a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of hunger relief and community engagement. The successful candidate will be a strategic and relational leader, responsible for defining and advancing the organization's vision, and ensuring its impact on food security and community well-being. This role involves working closely with the board, staff, and external partners to strengthen the organization's culture, empower the leadership team, and deepen partnerships. The CEO will also be the primary ambassador and advocate, with a focus on fundraising, and will be expected to have a proven track record in resource development and advocacy. The ideal CEO for the company will have a strong background in senior executive leadership, particularly in a nonprofit or mission-driven enterprise, and a deep commitment to the values of trust, effectiveness, and innovation. Key responsibilities include modernizing systems, policies, and management practices, as well as championing data-informed evaluation and program sustainability. The candidate should be a collaborative systems thinker, capable of balancing innovation with practicality, and ensuring that new initiatives are mission-aligned and sustainable. Strong financial and operational acumen, as well as exceptional relationship-building skills, are essential for this role.
