This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, working three 12-hour shifts a week, with every other weekend requirements.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in a 29-bed general ICU at a Level 2 trauma center. The unit features advanced technology and offers a collaborative environment for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a critical care environment.
• Manage ventilators, titrate vasoactive drips, and interpret ABGs.
• Perform essential procedures including intubations, central line placements, and bedside trach and PEG tube placements.
• Monitor hemodynamics, utilizing advanced equipment such as Edwards EV 1000, CRRT, and ECMO.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; TNCC, NIH, and ABLS certifications welcome.
• Advanced skills in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drip titration are essential.
