Insurance and Financial Services Representative

As an Insurance and Financial Services representative with David Perkins State Farm, you will successfully market the financial and insurance products that manage everyday risks. Your proficient knowledge of financial products reinforces your sales-minded and consultative approach to educating customers on their financial options. Your analytical precision makes you an invaluable resource to customers and a competitive addition to a successful agency. You get to help customers protect from everyday risks, and plan for the future. You will work with the agent in engaging with customers and helping with their financial situation both with planning and protecting. This role could lead towards obtaining your financial planning licenses if not currently held. It could also lead to the ability to own and open your own agency in the future.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Consult customers with financial planning, insurance coverages, and investment options.
• Assist customers with portfolio management and asset allocation.
• Conduct financial reviews and recommend appropriate products and work with the agent with financial planning.
• Maintain compliance with financial and insurance regulations.
• Help set and sit in financial planning appointments
• Follow up with customers through calls, emails, texts, and face to face conversations
• Have in depth conversations and ask questions to uncover needs, gaps, and help provide solutions to benefit the customer

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in financial services preferred.
• Analytical and communication skills.
• Series 6/63/65 or SIE licenses preferred, or can be obtained within the role
• Sales experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain Property and Casualty, and Life and Health licenses
