About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to serve as the operational and strategic leader of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, crisis response leadership, shelter operations, staff leadership, compliance, community partnerships, funding initiatives, and long-term organizational direction. This role is pivotal in ensuring that critical services continue to meet the growing needs of the community, particularly in a fast-paced, high-demand environment rooted in trauma-informed care. The Executive Director will lead a multidisciplinary team, foster a trauma-informed care culture, and manage competing priorities while supporting staff and guiding the organization through growth and development. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' of nonprofit leadership or executive management experience. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and the ability to lead in emotionally demanding service environments are essential. The role requires a candidate with strong leadership, communication, organizational, crisis management, and decision-making abilities, as well as experience in supervising teams, managing budgets, and overseeing organizational operations. The Executive Director will also be involved in grant management, compliance, and fundraising, and must be passionate about mission-driven work and supporting vulnerable populations.
