A bank for all of us.About The RoleThe Sanctions & Watchlist Analyst will be a critical member of the Sanctions & Watchlist Screening team, responsible for ensuring the company remains in compliance with global financial crime regulations. This role involves performing daily screening operations to identify, investigate, and mitigate risks related to sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), adverse media, and enforcement list matches.ResponsibilitiesScreening Operations: Conduct thorough screening of entities and transactions.Alert Management: Analyze and disposition alerts generated by screening systems, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.Risk Mitigation: Investigate potential matches against OFAC, global sanctions, PEP, enforcement, and adverse media lists.Policy Compliance: Ensure all screening activities align with internal policies and applicable regulatory standards.Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex screening scenarios and provide operational support.Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate records of investigations, escalations, and screening outcomes.Support and Training: Assist in onboarding new analysts, mentor team members on complex screening scenarios and procedures, and provide constructive feedback on alert dispositions to ensure operational quality and consistency.Peer Review and Quality Control: Conduct regular reviews of peer investigations to ensure all alert dispositions consistently meet rigorous quality standards and internal compliance requirements.Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of direct experience in Sanctions, Watchlist Screening, or Financial Crime (FC) related compliance.Familiarity with financial crime screening tools and processes.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns.Experience in a fast-paced operational or compliance environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads.For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all US-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.
