Quality Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst (Release Testing) with strong expertise in automation, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BaNCS and a proven ability to support release cycles in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform release testing, integration testing, and validation of software builds.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Conduct REST API testing using tools such as ReadyAPI and Postman.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Analyze test results, document defects, and track them through resolution.
- Work extensively with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Ensure smooth deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, Chef, XL Release, and Maven.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
- Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and production readiness activities.
- Provide recommendations to improve testing processes and overall product quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience in release testing or QA in enterprise environments.
- Experience with BaNCS (required).
- Strong background with software test automation tools and frameworks.
- Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with REST API testing (ReadyAPI, Postman).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, and deployment tools.
Experience
- Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Builds)
- Jenkins, Chef, XL Release, Maven
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make informed decisions and provide actionable recommendations.
