The ideal candidate is an experienced packaging designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity application, packaging redesign, and system-level thinking across complex product portfolios.What You’ll Work OnLead the application of Abbott's visual identity across packaging, product experiences, and divisional brand touchpointsDesign and evolve packaging systems that align with Abbott's brand strategy while supporting business and customer needsCreate scalable visual frameworks, packaging architectures, and design standards across global portfoliosPartner with marketing, product, regulatory, and commercial teams to translate strategy into compelling design solutionsProvide creative direction and design feedback to internal teams and agency partnersDrive consistency, quality, and innovation across Abbott's branded product experiencesHelp shape brand guidelines and tools that enable effective execution across divisions and marketsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or related discipline8+ years of experience in packaging design, brand identity, or product experience designExtensive experience designing and redesigning packaging systems for complex product portfoliosStrong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, brand identity application, and physical product experiencesProven ability to translate brand strategy into scalable design systems and customer-facing experiencesExcellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skillsA portfolio demonstrating significant packaging design experience is required.
