Ford Shipping Clerk

The Ford Shipping Clerk is responsible for supporting daily Ford shipping activities and ensuring shipments are processed accurately, on time, and according to established Ford and NYX New Albany procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily clerical functions related to shipping, receiving, inventory, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper shipping records and keep documentation organized and readily available.
• Enter, review, and verify shipping information with a strong attention to detail.
• Use Microsoft Outlook for professional internal and customer communication.
• Use Microsoft Excel for shipment tracking, reporting, data entry, and maintaining shipping information.
• Review emails and customer communications throughout the shift and respond in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify discrepancies and work with the appropriate team members to resolve issues before they affect the customer.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

This position requires strong process discipline, attention to detail, clerical accuracy, professional customer communication, and the ability to learn and use Ford-specific shipping systems. This is a hands-on logistics role that combines computer and administrative responsibilities with forklift operation, loading, unloading, and material handling as required.
