Banquet Bartender

Job Details: Job Location: 3325 COUNTRY CLUB RD 500 - BIRMINGHAM, AL 35213, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.00 Hourly, Job Shift: Evening Shift , The Country Club of Birmingham is looking for a friendly, dependable Bartender to join our Banquets team. We provide exceptional dining and hospitality experiences for our members and guests in a welcoming, professional environment. We are looking for team members who have a strong work ethic and can work efficiently, stay organized, and effectively multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Pay: $15-$18 hourly, depending on experience Schedule: 20-25 hours per week; specific dates and hours will be discussed during the interview based on the banquet schedule. What You'll Do Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards. Inspect the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and materials are available. Request additional supplies as needed to maintain proper bar inventory throughout service. Complete bar setup procedures prior to service and breakdown procedures following events. Prepare garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed beverages for service. Welcome and provide attentive, professional service to members and guests. Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and standards approved by the Beverage Manager. Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable bar area throughout each shift. Clean and properly maintain bar equipment and work areas. Follow all club policies and established procedures for closing and securing the bar. Communicate member or guest concerns and complaints to a manager promptly. Attend staff meetings and lineups as required. Work cooperatively with other Food & Beverage team members to provide an exceptional member and guest experience. What We're Looking For 1-2 years of previous bartending experience Knowledge of basic beverage preparation and bar service. Friendly, professional attitude and commitment to excellent customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic with the ability to remain productive and efficient throughout the shift. Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized in a busy environment. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with members and guests. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and remain active throughout the shift. Must be able to follow all applicable club policies and beverage-service procedures. Why Join Our Team?
