taff Accountant Job Summary We are seeking a detail-driven, proactive Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and making a direct impact on business performance. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data Assist with preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting as needed Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies, trends, or opportunities for improvement Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and accounting regulations Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency Support special projects and ad hoc reporting requests from leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1–3+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset CPA or progress toward certification is a plus What Makes This Role Exciting Opportunity to contribute to critical financial operations and business decisions Exposure to a wide range of accounting functions and special projects Collaborative team environment with opportunities for mentorship and growth Chance to improve processes and help shape a high-performing finance function Clear path for advancement into Senior Accountant and other finance leadership roles Ideal Candidate You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in accuracy and accountability.
