Medical Biller

Our client, healthcare services provider is seeking a Medical Biller to join their team. As a Medical Biller, you will be part of the billing department supporting the administrative and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, customer-oriented mindset, dependability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Biller

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay Range: $18 - $22 per Hour

Shift:  M-F 8AM-5PM 

What's the Job?

• Manage and submit insurance claims accurately and efficiently
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely resolution
• Maintain detailed records of billing activities and communications
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues
• Ensure compliance with all relevant billing regulations and policies

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of experience in insurance billing, preferably in a physician’s office
• Proficiency with ICD-10 coding and billing software
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependability and ability to work in a team environment
