A prestigious Am Law 100 law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior-level Real Estate Attorney with a strong construction law background to join its New York team.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience advising owners and developers on sophisticated commercial and residential construction matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise owners and developers throughout all phases of construction projects
- Draft and negotiate construction, design, engineering, and consulting agreements
- Negotiate right-of-entry, access, and closeout agreements
- Advise clients on construction claims and project-related issues
- Resolve construction disputes outside of arbitration and litigation
- Apply New York construction law and New York Lien Law
- Support clients on sophisticated real estate development matters
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant construction law experience
- Strong law firm experience representing owners and developers
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating construction agreements
- Strong knowledge of New York construction law and Lien Law
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional legal drafting xhyhwjd ability
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active New York Bar admission and in good standing
- Strong academic and professional credentials
Preferred Experience
Experience in broader transactional real estate matters is a plus, including:
- Real estate development
- Acquisitions and dispositions
- Leasing
- Real estate finance
