Commercial Real Estate Attorney | Succession Opportunity

LHH is assisting a sophisticated midsize New York City law firm in its search for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its practice in connection with a significant succession opportunity.

The attorney will work closely with the firm's Real Estate Chair and other partners on a broad range of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, with an opportunity to build toward a meaningful long-term role within the practice.

The Role

You will advise clients on commercial real estate matters including:

• Purchases and sales
• Real estate finance, representing both lenders and borrowers
• Commercial leasing
• Private equity-related real estate transactions
• Development matters
• Joint ventures

• Genuine succession opportunity , with at least two equity partners expected to retire from the group in the near future
• No book of business required for elevation
• Support from partners as well as the firm's business development and marketing teams
• 1,850 billable-hour expectation
