Float Medical Lab Technologist
$34.21 - $52.14 per hourLabcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Medical Lab Technologist for its Seattle laboratory operations. The role involves performing routine and complex technical procedures, specimen evaluation, and instrumentation maintenance across multiple facility locations on a rotating shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assess specimen acceptability according to established quality criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Prepare and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
- Document preventative maintenance and maintain accurate test result reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
Compensation: $34.21–$52.14 per hour plus third shift differential
