Sr. Software Development Engineer

Position Summary Oak Street Health MSO, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on designing and building software solutions that optimize the sales and service team's workflows and help drive efficiency. Telecommuting is available and multiple positions exist. Responsibilities As a Sr. Software Development Engineer, you will: Provide technical support to Salesforce development team members at all levels and serve as a go‑to resource for Salesforce data management best practices. Support Salesforce implementation by designing and developing Salesforce solutions, including creating (design, document, build) and managing (test, deploy) changes to Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Apex classes, Apex controllers, and Apex triggers. Maintain all third‑party integrations related to Salesforce (e.g., CTL, website, marketing automation tool). Coordinate and execute release/deployment processes. Collaborate with technical teams (e.g., IT, BI) to align objectives and strategies, and identify opportunities for improvement. Participate in design and code reviews to ensure development quality. Provide strong working knowledge of DevOps processes and maintain experience in various integration patterns. Support day‑to‑day operations, including primary support for detection and correction of bugs or other technical issues. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in a software development engineer role or related field. Experience in: Salesforce Platform Development (Apex, Flows, Lightning) Salesforce Unlocked/Managed Packages (SFDX) Salesforce Integration & API Development Salesforce DevOps & Deployment Salesforce Security & Sharing Salesforce Communities / Experience Cloud Technical Design and Documentation Salesforce Shield Encryption Salesforce Team Lead role Compensation Pay Range: $153,317/year to $203,900/year. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. The position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range and includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
