Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Procurement Specialist Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) Pay Range: 47-50/hr What's the Job? Lead in determining and managing sourcing strategies within defined categories or subcategories. Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define sourcing plans. Oversee the sourcing process, including materials and reports for management, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and identify new potential partners. Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles. Strong understanding of procurement techniques and supply chain management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
