Job Description

As a Buyer, you will independently handle purchasing requests, manage external purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. This role requires transactional proficiency, not strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal purchasing requests independently.
• Generate and oversee external purchase orders.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Navigate outside standard procedures using sound judgment when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and subcontractors to support control solutions.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Basic Excel skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Oracle systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily in-office, with flexibility for a hybrid model if needed. The work involves using technologies such as Oracle and Excel.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
