LTL ORDER PREP
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an LTL  Order Prep for a company based in Olive Branch, MS.  In  this role, you will  have the opportunity  and be responsible  for preparing customer orders for shipment by locating, verifying, organizing, wrapping, labeling, and staging merchandise. This position requires consistent physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Associates may handle large, bulky, or heavy products and must follow established safety and quality procedures.

Pay Rate
$15.75 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3 00 pm. ( OT required) 

LTL Order Prep  Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare completed orders for shipment according to customer and carrier requirements. 
• Verify products, quantities, item numbers, and shipping information for accuracy. 
• Inspect merchandise for damage or defects before orders are released for shipment. 
• Handle  large, bulky, and heavy merchandise while preparing orders. 
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and reposition products throughout the shift. 
• Build, organize, and secure orders on pallets to prevent damage during transportation. 
• Wrap pallets using stretch wrap and apply appropriate shipping labels and documentation. 
• Stage completed orders in designated outbound or shipping areas. 
• Use RF scanners or warehouse systems to confirm products and order information as required. 
• Assist with palletizing, repacking, labeling, and other shipping preparation duties. 
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while meeting daily order requirements. 
• Keep work areas clean and organized and remove packaging materials and debris. 
• Follow warehouse safety procedures, including proper lifting and material-handling practices. 
• Work closely with order pickers, shipping associates, forklift operators, and supervisors to ensure orders are completed on schedule. 
• Perform additional warehouse and general labor duties as assigned.

LTL Order Prep   Qualifications  and Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; frequently bend, stoop, reach, twist, and squat; repeatedly lift and move approximately 50 lbs. or more with assistance when required
• Previous warehouse, order preparation, order picking, shipping, palletizing, material handling, or general labor experience. Experience using RF scanners, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is beneficial.
