Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Alabaster, AL
Job Type: Full-Time
Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Salary: $80,000–$90,000/year, based on experience
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide quality rehabilitation services and help residents improve independence, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide skilled OT services focused on ADLs, mobility, cognition, strength, and safety.
- Monitor progress and update treatment plans.
- Supervise and guide COTAs.
- Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and families.
- Complete timely documentation and participate in care planning.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active Alabama OT license in good standing.
- NBCOT OTR certification.
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills.
- SNF/geriatric experience preferred.
