What You’ll Do

As a Registered Occupational Therapist, you will provide occupational therapy services to help patients improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities may include:

• Evaluate patients and identify functional needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
• Provide occupational therapy interventions in accordance with established plans of care.
• Help patients improve mobility, daily living skills, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapy staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and strategies.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and facility policies.
• Promote safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

• Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Appropriate Alabama licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
