Third (Nights) Overview: Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator for 3 South- Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit . This is a Full Time, Night shift position in Williamsburg, VA. Hours: 645PM to 715AM during week days. No Weekend Schedule! The Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit (3 South) at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center provides specialized care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post-coronary interventions, post-ablation care, and myocardial infarctions. The unit also manages pre- and post-catheterization patients, as well as those experiencing acute stroke. This 24-bed unit cares for patients with higher acuity than a typical medical-surgical unit. 3 South provides an exciting opportunity for nurses seeking growth in a dynamic, high-acuity environment. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service. Education

- Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN (required) Or
- MSN (Preferred)
- Registered nursing License (Required)
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
- Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
- Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire
- NIH within 1 year of hire
- 18 Months of acute care RN experience(required)
- Experience in Telemetry, acute stroke, or cardiac preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Acute Care nursing background preferred
