SAP BASIS Consultant

Role Overview:

The SAP BASIS Consultant will serve as a Basis Administrator with over 4 years of experience, primarily responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and uptime of business-critical SAP systems and HANA databases. This role involves comprehensive administration and support for Production, Test, and Development environments, encompassing planning, coordination, and implementation of all SAP changes, performance and tuning analysis, capacity planning, and software upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide analytical skills to evaluate system performance, conduct system health checks, and implement tuning improvements.
• Perform maintenance of multi-landscape environments through client copies, system refreshes, and transport management.
• Responsible for documenting reports, design, and landscape of all SAP environments.
• Provide L2 and L3 production support to customers.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience as a Basis Administrator.
• 2+ years of SAP HANA Experience.
• Hands-on experience with various SAP HANA life cycle management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot HANA memory bottlenecks and perform performance tuning.
• Good knowledge of backup / restore configuration.
• Expertise in managing SAP ECC, HANA, Portal, BW, PI/PO, CPS, GRC, Gateway/Fiori, Solution Manager, and SLD systems.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Basis Administration.
• 2+ years of SAP HANA experience.
• SAP HANA Technology certificate would be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in Azure/Public cloud would be an added advantage.
