We provide personalized in-home care and individualized support that helps seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities live safely, independently, and comfortably in the place they call home.The HR Assistant supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department, with a strong focus on onboarding, compliance, employee file management, and HR administrative support. This role helps ensure a smooth and efficient hiring and onboarding experience while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting compliance with company, payer, state, federal, and regulatory requirements.The HR Assistant is responsible for maintaining organized employee records, supporting pre-employment requirements, tracking new hire training, assisting with HR processes, and protecting the confidentiality of sensitive employee information. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, organization, discretion, and timely follow-through.ResponsibilitiesOnboardingComplete onboarding and hiring processing for new hiresEnsure required documentation is in Document Manager for the new hire (application, disclosures, background checks)Communicates with applicant to ensure they have information and access to the HRISConducts onboarding appointments- collects hire paperwork, verifies I-9 documents, employment verificationCompletes appropriate state required background check and reference checksEnters new employee in Electronic Training SystemSchedules new hires for hepatitis B vaccine or TB test, as applicableAdministrativeMaintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in electronic Document Manager.Supports HR Business Partner with unemployment and workers compensation practicesCollaborates with quality management team with internal and external audits of employee filesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency with technologyAttention to detailDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.Basic knowledge of requirements around employment eligibilityOccasional travel may be requiredHuman Resources experience preferredIf you are a dedicated professional looking to make a difference in the lives of clients and caregivers, we'd love to hear from you!This is an in person position Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Paid time offReferral programSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shift AMIVIE
