Patient ratio 1:3. Orientation: 36 hours. Float assignment to postpartum unit required. Weekend coverage per unit needs. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year). Highlights: - 277-bed acute care hospital with comprehensive obstetrical services - Baby-friendly protocols with full interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and interpretation services - Epic charting system for streamlined documentation - 36-hour paid orientation to support successful transition - Guaranteed hours with minimal call-off policy (once per two-week pay period) - 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension Requirements: - Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission) - Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required - Labor and postpartum experience is mandatory - Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (AWHONN Advanced preferred) - Epic charting system experience required - Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years - Willingness to float between like units and potentially to nearby affiliate facilities - Candidates must reside outside 50-mile local radius Why Join Us?
