• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $70.00–$75.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (3x12 Hours), 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery travel nursing contract at an Acute Care Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. Hard-stop: labor and post-partum experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3
• Float between like units as required
• Complete orientation of 36 hours upon start
• Submit RTO requests at time of submission

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Labor and post-partum experience (hard stop — required)
• Ability to float between like units
• Locals not accepted; travel candidates only
• Pending license not accepted
• RTO must be included at time of submission

Preferred Skills

• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred

Education Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License — CA required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery required
• Labor and post-partum experience required (hard stop)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Acute Care Hospital setting
• Total staffed beds: 277
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color for RNs: Royal Blue or Navy Blue (provided for L&D)
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4x12 scheduling available upon request
• Block scheduling: No
• Float between like units required
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required

• Hard stop: Labor and post-partum experience is required — candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• Locals not accepted. Travel candidates only.
• Pending license not accepted. Active RN license required at time of submission.
• RTO Restrictions: All requested time off must be included
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.
• Orientation: 36 hours.
