This opportunity, available in both full-time and part-time capacities, allows counselors to work remotely through our telehealth facility. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes focused on diagnostic and functional evaluations, developing treatment goals and plans in collaboration with primary care providers.

• Provide brief, focused interventions for patients requiring mental health support, ensuring that appropriate strategies are used to meet each individual's needs.

• Serve as a key member of the primary care team, aiding in the recognition, treatment, and management of mental health and psychosocial issues.

• Monitor patient progress, facilitating follow-ups to assess treatment efficacy and determine if changes in approaches are necessary.

• Develop and implement relapse prevention plans when indicated, assisting patients in maintaining stability in their mental health.

• Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans accurately within electronic health records to maintain compliance and support seamless care.

• Educate patients on self-management skills and coping strategies, enabling them to actively participate in their recovery journeys.

• Collaborate with other health care professionals to coordinate comprehensive health services and ensure patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC will engage with a diverse client base, including individuals struggling with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic stress. Our integrated approach means that the counselor will work closely with primary care providers to serve patients' comprehensive health needs and help identify which clients may require specialized mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license in Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, and psychotherapeutic techniques.

• Experience with diagnostic tools and frameworks, including DSM-5 diagnoses and behavioral therapy.

• Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients, families, and health care team members.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for client documentation and interprofessional collaboration.

Preferred Experience\n

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred, providing the ability to serve a broader client demographic.

• Experience working in a primary care or integrated health setting is advantageous.

• Prior telehealth experience is a plus, demonstrating capability in remote counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a SIGN-ON BONUS to successful candidates.
