Quality Systems Specialist

Job Duties Set up new ingredients and packaging materials in SAP. Verify accuracy of incoming customer specifications. Review incoming materials for accuracy and COA requirement. Review incoming material labels for accuracy and meet regulatory requirement. Coordinate on HACCP and Food Safety verification and validation. Collect FG customer samples during trial and ship customer samples, per required specs. Prepare for first production approval. Create Allergen matrix and date code sheet for facility use. Maintain material masters and registers. Communicate with customers to resolve issues. May be required to work weekends from time to time. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times. Comply with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law. Comply with all company rules, regulations and policies. Perform other duties as assigned by site QA leadership. Required Competencies & Knowledge Knowledge of Makers Pride procurement, products, and production processes Knowledge and experience with SAP Skill in Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong self-confidence. Strong will to drive change. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work with autonomy. Must be accurate, detail‑oriented and maintain the utmost confidentiality. Must be detail oriented. Ability to Communicate in English to give and acknowledge instructions/problems. Physical and mental ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week. Calculate figures. Add, subtract, multiply and divide in various units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Write routine reports and correspondence. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule form. Work well with others in stressful situations and meet deadlines as necessary. Handle multiple priorities and tasks. Excellent keyboarding, record keeping and follow‑up skills. Work in a fast‑paced environment, while at the same time making sound decisions. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and SAP Work Environment Maintain harmonious working relations with employees from all departments. Maintain harmonious working relations with management from all levels. Communicate effectively with all employees and management. Physical Requirements Reaching with hands/arms throughout the day. Ability to use hands and fingers. Ability to see, hear and talk. Ability to work in light to moderate noise levels. May be required to walk up to 400 yards to work and break areas. May climb steps to and from work and break areas. Minimum Qualifications 5 – 7 years' experience in Data Entry HACCP Certified. SAP Experience Required. Microsoft Products Experience Required. Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), SQF all pluses. Benefits The pay range for this full‑time, salaried position is $45,921 - $68,881 per year. Base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance.
